About us

The StudentHouse is an organisation for students, by students. At The StudentHouse, these senior students mentor juniors by sharing advice on general student life and their experiences with extra-curriculars. This is a perfect opportunity for students who are trying to join or create their own project. We allow students to work with any existing project in any school in the city or get their own project up and running with the help of our marketing, communications, and illustrations team.

Our Story

We, Raghav Ruia, Yohan Khan and Piyush Pahuja, are three 12th grade students, currently, studying in Mumbai. In both the 9th and the 11th grade, we started out as students who were anxious, confused, and in need of direction. We relied on a few friends and informal, messy means of communication to gain the insights we needed to be successful, capable students. After a period of a year, we were being contacted in the same manner by our juniors (most of whom weren’t even in our school) as they required similar guidance. Furthermore, we are students who are engaged in numerous extracurriculars, both within our school and personally. We always struggled to effectively find new extracurriculars and to market our own in a manner which would be streamlined and straightforward. When Raghav first conceptualised this, we knew we were onto something big. Our further brainstorming, reevaluation, conversations with venture capitalists and experts, and market research, all validated this excitement. This organisation is an attempt by us to ensure that, by using our scalability and digital platforming, students can utilise the platform to navigate student life and build their college applications to a much greater degree than before.
